My insurer has just told me I need an electronic immobiliser (doesn't have to be thatcham) fitted. They didn't mention I need an alarm.

Could anyone suggest a good (hopefully cheap) way to do this?

My car is a 1991/2 9000 CS 2.3 with key operated central locking but no remote locking.

Also (asking a lot I know) my passanger door does not operate with the central locking - bit of a pain. Should I just replace the solenoid and if so do the solenoids fit any door or are they door specific?
