If I stand near the engine bay and blip the throttle I hear a buzzing noise. At first I thought it was some sort of vacuum leak but I put my ear by the ignition module and im sure thats whats buzzing. It only buzzes when I first open the throtle and it seems like there is a delay in the engine response when it buzzes. Its the #39 ignition module on the 85 SPG. What could buzz inside the module? The car still runs ok and I get a good amount of boost, but the buzzing is strange.

See if the buzzing is really coming from the charcoal cannister purge valve which is about 8" lower and forward or the ignition module.

I got around to checking it today and the buzzing is coming from the charcoal canister. I temporarily disabled the system and the throttle delay seems to have gone away along with the buzzing.
