Hi All

The APC unit on my 86 16S has the number 7524135 on the case.

I have have had a look at www.900aero.com but there is no mention of this particular APC unit.

I am assuming it is one of the 160hp units that came out in Australia in 1986 when unleaded petrol was first introduced.

What I am trying to confirm is whether the APC is the original or if it has come out of either a 9000 or a different year 900.

I show it as a LHD US market 16v 900. Can't tell you the expected power.

Hi Neil,

My Canadian spec '86 SPG had the same box. It's a 1986 only APC number. 160hp w/cat.

Makes sense.

As 1986 was the year that unleaded fuel was introduced into Australia, the 1986 16S 'lost' 15hp - 175hp v 160hp to the 1985 16S. Also there is a cat converter on my car.

I am also happy to know it is probably the correct APC for the car as well.
