I purchased a supposedly new ICM3 from eBay and had it married via Tech 2. Shortly after the Tech 2, the new ICM3 was triggering fault codes, the worst of which being low oil.

The Saab technician insisted my ICM2 needed to go back in, which he did and its working fine now.

Both units had the same boot software version, so I would assume they're from the same year.

Having contacted the seller, they claim the unit wasn't/isn't faulty as they connected it first to test it.

Anyone have any ideas? Having checked the forums before, it shouldn't have been a problem?

No ideas, but I'll take the ICM3 off your hands! (I'm serious, I've been keeping an eye out for a while and haven't seen one...)

Damn blast! Oh well. Anyone know where to find an LHD ICM3? (and GPS box and DVD/gyro box?)

What is the year of your car and what is the part number of the icm 3 and the part number of the icm 2. i can check to see if it compatible with your car.
