I'm really interested. Was it properly divorced with a tech2 from the donor car?

I personally have a Tech 2, there isn't a need for it to be 'divorced'. You can technically just install it but if you want to get the proper settings and configurations going, you'll wanna add it with a Tech 2.

I have another one I installed in my car that had been sitting in another Saab without any electronics so there's no way I could have divorced it. it's working fine today ;ol;

I also have a tech2. If I want a proper configuration I only need to add it as new ICM module ?

Not sure if you're allowed to PM yet. but you can send me an email. I'll post in visitor messages.

and yeah you just have to go to add / remove modules and add the ICM3. As long as you've got security access and all that, you should be fine. The ICM3 probably has the most settings to configure, Radio type, radio market, body type, phone, on star etc.
