Took the car out for a spin today but when I got it onto the motorway I noticed it was travelling badly. It seemed to slightly pick up speed and slow again on its own. These changes were barley noticable but yet enough to cause concern.
The best way I can desribe it as if you were driving in very high winds.
Ive also noticed that at lower speeds when you take your foot off the accelarator pedal it coasts badly, sort of quickly slows down then surges ahead without me touching the pedals.
It also has a slight whining noise when i engage the clutch but this has been there for a while so Im not sure if is connected
Anyone knows what could be causing this?

Could the clutch be slipping causing the speeding up / slowing down and therefore be related to the noise too?

Clutch doesn't seem to be slipping. I let the petrol run low and filled it from different petrol station and it seems good. I'm still going to clean the TB and Maf and hopefully that sorts it out
