Long story short... the chrome around the passenger side grill was cracked and it fell out during a snow storm. Where can I buy a factory replacement or even and aftermarket one if it would be cheaper? Also, do I have to buy the entire 3 piece set or can I buy the outer pieces seperate?

I picked up all three from a wreckers recently to make a custom grill. Cost me about $150 for all three peices. Id call as many wreckers that you can and go that route. Best of luck.

I have been very happy with http://saabpartspeople.com/ They have about every oem part you could ever want at really good prices (on most things not all). I replaced the pealing rubber coated parts to my cracked cover on the third brake light. They have everything, easier to find the parts with the part number but they have everything organized so you can find it the old way.

This link from parts.com will bring you right to the outer grilles

http://www.parts.com/oemcatalog/index.cfm?action=getJointLocator&siteid=2&chapter=&Sectionids=0,2276&groupid=51817&subgroupid=40165&componentid=2869&makeid=30&model=9-3&year=2004&graphicID=7320005&callout=9&catalogid=2&displayCatalogid=0

It is $32 dollars for that small little plastic grille. You may want to check car-parts.com for a used one. They search salvaged parts nationwide. Easy to navigate. Just bought "used" metal-surround speedo cluster today for $80 instead of $300+ for brand new!!!
