I might be wrong, but I think the oil life monitor has to be under a certain point (10%?) in order to reset it. Otherwise, you need tech II.

I read this on another thread but if you adjust the date up one year you will be able to reset it since it will think you are over your interval. Just Remember to put the year back.

Customize, get into Service info, if you are under 10% it will ask you if you want to reset, select yes.

If you are not under 10 percent use the date method, set the date 1 year ahead if your an 06 or later, exit, re-enter to service info and re-set, then re-set the date. Don't be surprised if the days don't count down, Since I've been setting mine, the % goes down but the days have not changed,
