It is all in the title...
I have seen many threads about latter style bumpers painting, but not even one about old flat nose benches. Anyone tried, if yes with what filler/primer/color?

That product says it's for urethane bumpers, and I'm fairly sure that the pre-'87 bumpers are not urethane. The pre-'87 SPG kits are the same as the others, but the actual bumper is made of a very rubbery substance (leaves black, shoe-like marks on cars that hit you--ask me how I know!) , which I believe cannot be painted, as I've never seen any pre-'87 900 with painted bumpers.

Perhaps I do as well...but I use "rubber" loosely!

"thermoplastic rubber"

Either way special products are in the market...just Google it.

The most important part of the process...ADHESION PROMOTER

Maybe I have used to strong word - painting :D
What I want is to make bumpers look good (black and without scratches..) again, and I was wondering if there is some product beside usual trim recovery liquids which can not cover damages ...
Adhesion promoter...
Thanks to all for comments.
