I have a 92' vert and unfortunatelly, some previous owner had the engine replaced - with a non turbo one. The car was originally LPT, but the new engine is form a N/A car.

So far everything works fine, but I'm constantly worried if there's engine knock I'm not aware of. My mechanic once told me I already have knock sensor installed - so what would be the easiest way to get the information that the knock sensor provides to some dash (led) light?

In case od knock -> I'd like one red light on my dash to turn on. How to do it?

Thanks for answers

If it has the EZK ignition modual on the inside of the drivers side fender then it will detect knock and make any adjustments automatically.

What kind of an engine swap was it? ie did they do it right or half **** it. ;)

If they did it proper then you don't have anything to worry about.
