Link doesn't work. But there's a variety of products out there that deals with bacterial/mould growth in the A/C system. Using any of them would be better than not at all.

Might be a good idea to change your cabin air filter as well. They are relatively cheap and very easy to change.

Any other treatment will fail until you remove the offending material that is lodged in the disposable filter.

And of course check the condition of the cabin air filter "gasket" and clear the drain while you're in there.

This is a common complaint with many OEMs. One countermeasure that is being designed into vehicles with Auto A/C is that the initial blast of air is directed down towards the footwell, then adjusts to the face setting after 2-3 seconds. This redirects that initial odor away from the occupant. I manually did this with my old WRX and definitely helped.
