First question is on the title of the topic....:D
Second question.....Can I remove just the cupholder or I have to start from the ashtray and work my way up?
Any of you guys have any pics to help me with?

Thanks..:D :D

I've been thinking about pulling mine too. There is a rattle in that area that has plagued me for a while.

Saba's guides have instructions for the head unit and ashtray. I suspect the removal of the thin panel with OnStar and cupholder requires manipulation of side locking tabs just like the head unit.

In lieu of the specific tool shown in the guides, you can use a butter knife or similar implement. Avoid prying with a screwdriver as that will put marks in the plastic.

I'm just curious...why do you want to remove the cupholder?
No rattles for me...I just want to see if there is enough room to fit an electronic boost gauge next to the cupholder.. ;)

Saba's guides are very very usefull...but I'd prefer not to remove everything else to get the cupholder out... ...is this possible?????
