I'm hungry and on my way to get some food, so I didn't read into detail.

But I believe this is a way we can reprogram out Trionic 7 ECUs for free! Hopefully we can look into it more, and there may be encryption to deal with, but I see the possibiity of a site dedicated to helping eachother mod ECUs. Not to say that tuners will be hurt bad or anything, because some people aren't going to want to deal with the technology.

Can somebody update me as to what sort of point they are at in terms of developing such a device/being able to read and write code? What are the plans?

I joined, I'm just waiting for an admisistrator to approve my request. Damnit, I really hope this doesn't distract me from school. I know this is what I'm going to be doing all Christmas break!

I'm not sure if this site has been posted before but the creator is working on a number of projects and it looks like there is of alot of potential. There's sections for ECU and i/p bus modding, check it out.
