I was in Madison, WI this weekend and was driving in some unfamiliar area late at night when I went to make a left hand turn and my right tire hit a cement curb in the middle of the road. I didn't see it coming at all, but looked afterwards and the curb was nearly 8 inches high. That cant be good for my car. No immediate problems and I drove back to Milwaukee (about 90 miles) later that night with no problems but now my car seems to be a bit shaky in the front end when going highways speeds of about 55-70... anything I should do about this? I was so pissed. They had this completely useless slab of concrete unpainted in the most useless area.

Please notify the highway department about this..

Balance weights may well have been displaced. But one would think that the shimmy would have been immediate - so it is likely a tire is damaged internally..
$500 damage for want of $5 in paint ? or $5,000 in a lighting system..Shocking how expensive these things have become.
