Ok, firstly am I right in reading the Hirsch and BSR graphs..?

The way i read it is...

Hirsch is making peak torque at around 2700rpm on stage one
(what does 'over boost' mean?)

And...

BSR is making it at around 3300 rpm?

hirsch is making 350 nm
Bsr is making 370 nm..

So does that mean that its possible the Hirsch ECU will make the 0-60mph time better than the BSR one?

Any thoughts on that chaps

Hi Bladey, I had half decided on Hirsch over BSR anyway in view of warranty issues but I can't seem to find anyone who has the stage 1 230 bhp on a manual. I am actually OK with the overtaking speed my aero has, it's the pull away from the lights that disappoints me. I obviously like the level of torque available for weekend driving, but I wonder how many Saab designers spend their weekdays driving around towns like London, where the idea of overtaking is like a dream. It's not even 0 to 60 more like 0 to 30 before braking for the next set of lights!! I'm not too keen on spending 800 pounds if it's not going to improve the getaway by much.

alright there fast eddie.. well i pretty much agree . 50 -80 is really nice.. but 0- 60 is pretty poor really, considering its saab top end 93 . You would not believe the cars that have either drove past me or kept me in there sights even when i was gunning it.

I think i'm gonna go with bsr. 881 (inc vat!) is too much to pay for 20hp. I know there is a good deal of torque in there too. but its just too much.. Price of the BSR is reasonable.

If i do go with BSR once I tune it i'll leave it tuned. Maybe get an optiflow, and see how that performs. If it still feels a bit weak. I might go with a stage 3 . i wanna keep the car for a few years yet, i do high mileage, so I might as well enjoy a bit more power.

Then one..... ONEEEEEE day... get an M3 :lol: or even give the 93 v6 turbo a try by then
