I picked up a spare pre throttle body intake pipe today with the intention of tapping it for a injector nozzle, but after having a good look at it i've decided to swap the stock one for a 3" 90 bend then a 3"-2.25" reducer and run a 2.25" stainless steel to the long hose which the bypass valve sits in, which has a 2.25" i/d. I'll have to cut the flange off the stock pipe and weld it onto the alumin bend.

Total cost is about £35:D not including the 2.25" tube which i had bought previously to plumb in the intercooler.

The stock pipe has to flatten before making a tight turn, the wider angle 3" bend should open the flow up to the throttle a little better.
