I'm a Saab salesman, and just received a very unique request from a customer: they want a cargo net that will tell them where to put stuff to keep it out of the "convertible zone" in the trunk of a 9-3 Arc convertible. Has anyone out there done this or heard of it being done? I'm not above making it myself, just wanted to see what was out there. Thanks!

I think a Black Sharpie would work for this - use some masking tape as a guide and go from there. This is one of those "why haven't the car companies done this yet" kind of things.

I don't know if this would work, but what if you installed the side cargo net (shown here ) across the back where you guys are talking about the sharpie or tape? I don't know if it would stretch that far, and you'd have to mount the clips where you need them, but it's an idea...

EDIT: I would post a similar question in the Lounge, and see if other Convertible owners have done anything novel/similar.
