Aperently, I need to know to what engine code range my engine belongs to buy some gaskets online. Where is the engine number located?

What gaskets? The motor is a Saab B202 turbo, with the earlier style head with overhead oilers (as long as you haven't changed it). Offhand I'd say all the gaskets would be the same, with the potential difference of the valve cover gasket, since the valve covers did change over the years and I heard something of a difference (thicker rubber on the newer one?)
