ok so it was snowing all weekend (about a foot and a half) then today its like 45 degrees and raining like crazy, so of course all the snow melted... i was on my way to work this morning (it was still very dark) come down this hill and wam! crash ! right into a puddle about 3 ft deep! my saab died and i had to get it towed out. now when i try to start it, it makes this high pitch whining noise !! im so depressed i love my car and this was such a preventable accident .. i dont know why there wasnt signs posted. this happened to about ten other cars. im just lucky it didnt fry the electrical system. anyone know what might be going on ? i have a 2004 saab 9-3 aero

Beware Hydrolock...don't try to start it anymore...get it to a Dealer or mechanic...pull the plugs, blow out the cylinders, check for fluid contamination.

3 foot is deep, you could have easily sucked in some water.
