well whilst doing some servicing on my 900i 1997 i've managd to crack the green nozzle on the end of the injector.

question, will i need t replace all injectors or just the one ???

the jet holes are fine so can i replace and run the car as norm??

Just replace the one. but get the others out and cleaned professionally whilst in there; cleaning involves an ultrasound bath then new filter and spray pattern check, this costs around £10-15 each and will give as good if not better than new performance. I good diesel engine specialist will be able to point you in the right direction as to who does this service locally.

thannks for that, but can i still use the injector as i'm currently on bike patrol, it's only part of the housing thats broken.

If there's no leak [petrol out or air in] from the crack then maybe you need not do anything; you could refit and run it to see, but be mindfull of its condition - peace of mind and all that.

Best think is to get a use one from junk car and replace that one , The one you have my be creaked ans a piece my fall in the intake and destroy a valve or something else .
