Hello everyone!
My name is Nick and i am living in Cyprus!
I am owner of a Saab 9-3 Vector 2005 convertible and I need your help.
I place an order about two weeks ago for a complete exhaust system directly from Maptun(round tailpipe 61 L tank, Saab 9‑3 II 1.8/2.0t/T) Maptun Item number: 04-13047H
I received the full exhaust system yesterday and my engineer realized it was not the right one.
My car have 58L tank and this exhaust is intended for Saab with 61L tank.
Can I modify or replace part or parts of this 61L tank system to install it in my car which is 58L?
Thanks in advance!
Nick

Hi Nick and welcome to SC.
Difference of exhaust is center pipe which is bigger with 61L tank.
So you can modify it, just slice and reweld.

Thanks for your reply,
It's sounds like easy modification.

It's seem that there is more than one slice and reweld.. after a quick inspection the exhaust specialist, decided that there is more than two part that have to slice and reweld and he is very sceptical if at the end the last part of the exhaust fits properly as well..
Also I am waiting Maptune's advices about my issue.
