Just figured out that it's the heating pad that's busted:(. The rub is I'm not sure how to tell if it's the back or the *** one. I took a pic of the harness and but I'm not too sure which end goes where. Any thoughts?

(in the pic, the lead closest to my finger gets no reading with the tester)

In my opinion it IS the heatingpad when you get no resistance with a meter at all.

No reading means no circuit
By heart I thought it should be around 1 Ohm

Thanks PaQ

I used the swedish wrench site to trouble shoot the issue and it is indeed the pad. I have a closed circut along the two leads of the male plug (the one that isn't in my hand) so that pad is good. Is that plug for the back heating pad or for the bottom one? I would hate to tear appart my seat only to find that it was for nothing.
