My headliner fabric is waterstained (left the sunroof open a few times in the rain :() and peeling off at the front and rear edges. I need to replace it. Is there any reference to what type and color of fabric was used originally? The fabric on my A and C pillars are fine, so I'd like to match the headliner fabric to them so I don't need to replace everything, including the rear shelf.

Failing that, I guess my best option is to snip of a swatch where it's already loose, take it into a shop, and hope I can find something to match.

I assume it's foam backed material, just like on other newer Saabs. Do a search on "headliner fabric"; there's a huge variety of material to choose from. You probably want an off-white. I used "Oxford white" on my NG900.

Removing the headliner, and refitting it, is likely the most complicated part. I was disappointed in the efficacy of the 3M headliner adhesive, which was an expensive can that didn't seem particularly sticky.
