I have a 1997 2.3 ecopower 9000.

I have an intermittent problem with the full beams. Sometimes they come on, sometimes not. Sometimes when they are on they will not turn off. I have changed the switch assembly and engine bay mounted relays (although only for used replacements) - no improvement.

Are there some other relays somewhere?

PS. If the full beams are on and won't switch off I and I turn off the headlights at the headlight switch then they become reset to off.

Any ideas?

Sounds like the lamp control relay to me.
Maybe the one you swapped it for didn't work

I had the same problem. Replace the relay with one you know works.

I had a similar problem i found some percussive maintainance on the lamp control relay fixed it temporarily.

Been there, had same problem. It's the big red relay that's the problem. You're best off getting a new one, then you know it's OK (or if it isn't, it's got a warranty)
