Is there a way to remove the plastic facing (the "glass") off the headlamp assembly without breaking it?

I tried using a flathead screwdriver but I didn't want to force it out and crack it open or bust a seal or something.

Try using a heat gun or hair dryer to soften seal then pry it off with a screwdriver.

good idea, would I have to re-heat the seal when I re-installed the face?

I don't know if that will work; I would just use a good 3M brand sealant to reseal it; or if you don’t intend on taking it off again you could glue it.

You are supposed to be able to bake them off but that never works so well. WHat is the problem, if its cloudy you can clean it
