[DC900S]

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum but not new to Saabs. I recently bought my stepfather's 1997 900S with 159K miles. The car is in great shape and it feels great to own the car he would never let me drive when I was in high school.

The hatch shocks went a couple of years ago. I bought some new ones from Eeuroparts, but I can't for the life of me figure out to replace them. I've searched the forums, but can't find a post on how to replace the shocks.

Any help is much appreciated.

There may be a clip, or they just pull out...

The clips were rusted in there. A little WD-40 and some muscle strength was all it took. Now it works.
