I have an '06 9-3 Sedan with xenon headlamps that don't do a lot for me when it's raining regardless of bulb age (I currently have 5000K color temperature Philips xenon bulbs installed). I've read that the lamps' reflector bowls tend to get burned due to the xenons always being on. Does anyone have experience with resurfacing or repolishing the bowls? Alternatively, has anyone attempted to install good aftermarket xenon or LED projectors and had success?

There are reflector bowls in the xenon assemblies even though they are projector-type lights.
