I just bought an a/c compressor off a 2005 9-3. I was wondering if any DIYers have changed the compressor before and whether it was difficult or not. I consider myself pretty handy when it comes to cars, but I assume this will probably be one of the more difficult jobs to do just given the engine bay configuration and tight quarters. Any advice or instructions anybody has would be greatly appreciated!

it's cake. remove the serp belt, undo the pressure line (its an external torx, e12 or e10 i think), then its three 13mm bolts and you can drop the compressor out the bottom. helps to take off the bumper/wheel liner.
