I just installed a Nokia ck-7w carkit with the famous 375 cable harness. It works fine, except for the distorted output via the radio speakers.

I read about the need for a level adaptor on early models (mine is an early MY2003). Can anyone tell me what I exactly need? Is it an impedance transformer (like the ones used in stage microphones) or will a resistor setup do?

Any help highly appreciated!

You will need one of these "Electronic Filter Leads" to cure the problem -

I'm not sure wether it is a simple resistor or something more complicated, but this Autoleads one is not expensive to buy seperately and simply plugs into the existing Nokia - 375 interface lead.

It certainly worked on my 2003 (I bought the Autoleads Nokia - 375 interface lead with it already included).
