What to do - i've isolated a grumbling noise in the engine to the ac pulley, and noticed that even when commanded to LO it does not blow cold. Low side pressure is about 100 psi and does not cycle, leading me to believe the clutch isn't kicking in.

So - should I chance on that the compressor isn't seized and just buy a new clutch and pulley (and if so - where)
or get a complete chinesium compressor, clutch and pulley for $279?

158k on it and no evidence that it's ever been replaced.

You can test compressor magnetic clutch if you put battery voltage to 2 pin connector. It is under MAF.

For the record, the pulley bearing for a 2005 is 35BD5020 or MT2031.

There's another well done writeup on this site that specifies an MT2149 bearing for a 2001, but this one is 1 mm too thick for my application and covers the snap ring groove.

The bearing needs to be 35mm inner diameter, 50 mm outer diameter and 20 mm thick - which the two p/ns above are.
