Ok, so having been the owner of a '94 CSE for about 3 weeks now ive got a few little problems id like to share 
The MPG was rubbish.. It never seemed to get very hot when commuting so Ive popped in a new Thermostat and it now gets up to about 9 O'clock on the temp guage pretty rapidly
Havent had chance to check the MPG but im sure this will help.
Anyway while changing the stat I took the top rad hose off and noticed that the connection on the rad end tank was well broken, there is just enough to get a jubilee clip on and no more!! oh well a job for later on I think.. Well then I get the stat done and fill her up with water, now i like to squeeze the top hose to help get the water in and the air out, I dont know if it helps but it makes me feel special so thats good. So picture me squeezing the hose and I can hear a hissing, so I check the clamps and sure enough the stat end is a bit loose so I tighten her up and stop the leak at that end.. funny thing is its still hissing so I check the radiator end, now your all thinking that that top hose to radiator mounting is leaking right?? wel your wrong the feckin end tank is coming away from the radiator *&% *&% *&% *&% *&% !! so Ive got a new radiator coming tomorrow..
I bought the car from a "specialist" sold as seen for cheap on the basis of a test drive, he assured me he had looked after it for the last 3 years or so and it had been well serviced... SO I had a quick look at the air filter just because and it was nearly black!! damnit and the electrodes on the plugs were knackered.. ahh well we live and learn.
Right anyway down to one of the remaining problems!! My Cruise control seems a bit keen, might have been the cold engine but it seems to really go hard on the accelarator and the speed isnt exactly constant is that the way all of them work or is mine a bit poorly?
