Hi all, first post from a longtime lurker. I'm in need of a good Saab mechanic in Southeastern PA (Delaware County). My beloved '02 5-door is giving me a rattle that I believe to be comming from the timing chain. I just spent a day and a half replacing the waterpump and really don't want to tackle the timing chain myself. If anyone from the Philly area can recommend a good indy, I'a appreciate it.

I've been going to Swedish Auto Sports in Cherry Hill:

Steve over there was recommended by a co-worker who drives a Saab and has been going there for about 20 years.

My dad used to take his 99 to Dougherty in West Chester back in the day. I think they still have a good rep: http://www.doughertyautomotive.com/

I haven't heard too much about these guys in Wilmington, but maybe somebody else can comment: http://www.sportscarservice.com/

Thanks for the list! I work in West Chester, so I'll give Dougherty a call. Probably have it towed there to be safe. With the luck I'm having, the chain would break on the way there if I tried to drive it the 25 miles. Hopefully they will use a master link chain to replace it instead of telling me they need to pull the engine.
