So, I'm going to buy a used oil pan from a parts car this week, and the guy wants $100 for it, and says its in good condition, is that a fair price?

It's fair, but you may see them for a little less on ebay or on car-part. Make sure you get the oil pickup with it.

Actually I think $100 is excessive for the pan. There was one in the classifieds section for $75 about a month ago it may still be available. I think it's worth $50-$75. Look on craigslist and in the classifieds section over here.
