There are two independent Saab mechanic shops in Greater Vancouver area, one in Richmond (Bjarne's Mechanical Services, tel #604-233-0504) and the other in Vancouver (Swedish Autosport).
While these two are the mainstays for the local Saab community (other than Dueck Saab), I should also note one other shop in Richmond that services several premium European marques and is no stranger to Saabs, called Modern Auto Tech (tel #604-244-8355).
For the first two shops, tell 'em Ken referred you. See linky below.
Just read this article online. I wonder when they will release what models and what years the recall affects:
So basically the title. I've been having so much trouble with my engine, it's been totally dismantled so I'm just installing a new to me B207R. I have a 2010 9-3 XWD, and I'm wondering if I can shop only the one or both. Thanks, y'all!
Has any one had experience of getting the underside of their Saab Waxoyled?
I have a 2006 Aero convertible and been quoted £500 inc VAT. There is a little corrosion but certainly nothing serious and I just want to preserve the car for the future.
Been a few years since a "seen on the road" thread. Post your photos, self taken, of course... from the saablime to the ridiculous.
Here's what I call "The Eyelash Car". I'm not sure I understand why it needed eyelashes.
Hi all -
I've owned two SAABs in the past - a 1999 Viggen and a 1986 Aero (SPG) coupe.
The itch is biting again and I want to explore a classic 900 turbo convertible 1988-93.
I want to work out what model years are best and in particular what model years in Australia featured ABS.
