ok folks, I searched the forums to find answers, but so far striking out so here goes.
Just got a 1994 900S, totally stock and in extra fine shape too, I may add.

Concerning the radio: it obviously has CD capability, as the buttons are all there.
I assume there's a provision for a changer in the trunk somewhere.
My question(s) are:
1) Can someone tell me what the model# of radio I have?
2) Can someone tell me what model #'s of changer would work with said radio?
2) Can someone tell me if it's possible to optionally remove said factory radio, and replace with a "1/2 size" radio? and install some sort of "blank off plate" to account for the hole?

Thanks lads,
Rich

Answers to all of your questions, and then some, can be found in Richard Bevan's Saab Audio Guide (Google it). The quick answers are:

1) There's only one 900 radio, so it doesn't matter
2) Any Clarion C-Bus changer will work
3) Yes, and the dealer sells the pocket to fill the gap
