Whenever I start my 2006 Saab 9-3 a message appears on the display that says “Gearbox malfunction limited power contact dealer.” And it will drive but not with full power but the weird part to me is when I put it in reverse it seems to reverse just fine full power. It also shifts through prnd very rough, has anyone had this issue or have any idea what it could be. The check oil message also displays but I just had the transmission oil changed.

I was not having any trouble beforehand

Check oil? That means engine oil is low or sensor is bad (or not connected). Take it back.

Also, what transmission fluid did you put in there?
