Hello everyone!

I’m currently selling my 2004 SAAB 9-3 Linear. One of the problems it has is that the battery drains because the window lights stay on after the car has been turned off. The passenger side windows already don’t work. So as a quick fix, is there a way to disable this through one of the fuse boxes? Thanks

Get a multimeter and start pulling fuses until amp draw goes down.

What the heck are window lights..<img src="http://www.saabcentral.com/forums/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Confused" class="inlineimg" /><img src="http://www.saabcentral.com/forums/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Confused" class="inlineimg" />
Each window button has a glowing green light, you can only really see them when it’s dark. They stay on even when the car is turned off which is draining the battery.

Switch backlighting is controlled by the driver's switchpack - and if you have a window not working already you might consider removing the switchpack and examining the contacts. Or replace it with used.
