Hello. I belive my fuel pump is on the way out, at 93kmiles in a 99 9-5. I know most people recomend doing a rebuild but not sure where is the best place to purchase a pump kit. I have been looking at a eeuroparts pump assembly for a resanoable 200$. I was woundering if anyone used one of these assemblies and if they were worth purchasing. One of my fears is the 13 years of California heat has made the old assembly too brittle (like most other plastic parts in my car =/ ) so I was hoping to replace it completely for a reasonable price. Thanks, any othet suggestions are welcome.

But I was wondering if any one knows whats the high performance pump is all about, since I am pushing a stage 1 tune and gonna run E85 soon getting extra pumping power will be nice especially for such a cheap price. Pump linked bellow.

I think with E85 you might want to look into a higher flow pump, I'm not sure though. Are you making your own tune, or getting an off the shelf tune? E85 needs roughly 30% more volume that gasoline to produce real power so a new pump might be necessary.

@charles.waite: On stage 1 E85 tune you don't really need an upgraded pump, but its a plus. I will be running most likely a Mackan Stage 1 Tune with my own modifications.
