Anyone have a solution

My fuel gage just dies to the "R" indicator, my E.T. goes to --- meaning --- because it's readiny gas as empty and I have no miles left to go on this tank and the fuel light is on ofcourse even though I have a full tank

any suggestions? happen to anyone else?
at first like everything else it happened once in a while but now it's everytime.

get a new dash? fiddle with the battery?

btw on page 18 someone says it's the fuel sender and there are a bunch of threads on it, but when I type it into the search I cannot get anything. Someone else had the problem, just wondered what's the bet remedy

the sender must be replaced, about a fifty dollar part but the tank has to be dropped.....
