Ok i put twin spoke aero wheels on my 99 saab 95 and pooched the tires. It looks like the top inner lip of the tread may rub against the base of the strut tower? Anyone ever have this issue? Can I eliminate the issue with different tire size?

They are 235/45 17s

Thanks for the help in advance for the help;ol;

My guess would be that a 225/45/17 would solve the problem. I have 235/45/17 on my wheels without any rubbing problems of that sort, but they are RK1s with the 35 offset. From what I can tell, your wheels have a 49 offset, which puts them in much closer to the suspension, so the wider tire and higher offset is what lead to the problem.

You could try using a wheel spacer; to bring the wheel out a little.
