Found new stock on genuine saab front springs for my 2007 9-3 aero combo (v6) (AT). They are a steal at $15ea. The problem is they are for a 2.0 with sport suspension (32016019), while mine are for my 2.8L with sport suspension (32016020, code 49). I'm changing struts on the 150k mileage car and don't want to spend much more. Anyone know the difference in these springs? Anyone have the original ride height for my car? Worried this would pitch the front up. Rear springs and struts are likely original. Just bought the car.

I don't think there's any way of telling.

What is the condition of your present springs? Is there any reason not to reuse them?

I suppose if there's a suspension specialist in your area, you could get the new springs and have them compared. Free height is easy enough to see, but spring rates are trickier.

The 2.8 is heavier than the 2.0, so my guess is that the front end will sit lower with the 2.0 springs installed.
