So i had creaky front suspension, which made a creak on steering and up and down movement,

I located this to be the upper balljoint.

I have since ordered a new ball joint, and has arrived today.

I have a ball joint splitter and a torque wrench, im not sure if i should do a DIY or book it to garage?

I passed MOT with the balljoint creaking, as they no actual play there - in the meantime i made a cut in the rubber seal
and filled it with oil, this has silenced it considerably and located it as the culprit,

any opnions much appreciated.

Believe it or not, for cars in general, the 900 is one of the easiest cars to change ball joints on. Jim Mesenthe made a four bagger (all ball joints, albeit with full shop of tools and lift) in 22 min. Your results may vary:lol: I concur with Peva- the reference is excellent.
