I just noticed that there are a few frayed threads sticking up from the convertible top on my 9-3 in one spot. Is there anythying I can do to about this? Should I do anything?

I was hoping there would be some sort of brush on liquid that would seal the threads that are frayed? How about heat? Will check for stress.

I have used a lighter to smarten up my ties, but don't know if its a good idea for a vert roof.
