I spent yesterday afternoon re-routing the compressor side of the FMIC
had to get a flexible top rad hose like "John-w" has on his T8S
cos the top rad hose is in the way...

the new intake pipe came from a Volvo 940 turbo its the same as a 850 T5 item..

I've had to get rid of the headlamp wash/wiper & move the 2nd horn as these were in the way..

the intake pipe is a lot shorter & with a lot less restrictions in it  it has got rid of the "lag" that I had before..

old intake pipe & top rad hose, the 9k rubber boot is missing from this picture as I'm using it on my new route

no horn & headlamp wash/wiper

some views of the intake pipe route..

notice the new flexy rad hose just laying there..

some more shots of the route

now you can see the flexy rad hoes & intake pipes

views from below so you can see I can now lower the front of the T8 by -40mm without worrying about the intake pipes..
the throttle body side will be done later.

What's the copper coil at the top right-hand corner of the radiator?
It looks like a windshield washer heater. It should be wrapped around a coolant hose.

What are the dimensions of your intercooler? its looks like alot of clever work.

I was told the tow hooks had to be removed when piping an intercooler down there? how ist the IC secured?

How much of a HP increase has it been? do you think you will get better MPG?

compressor outlet

Have you rotated the compressor side of the turbo so that it ports downward rather than up? That would reduce a bit of length aswell would'nt it?
