Before I am rerouted to another thread.. I have read all the threads I could find but I could not find an answer. My 2008 saab 9-3 2.0T has a turbo flutter (p0033). My question is how does the valve work mechanically? Is there vacuum pulled through the line to make it activate or is it just the spring that regulates when it blows off? I understand that the valve recirculates air and Im assuming its through the line connected to the bpv. I have inspected the valve and it is in perfect shape. Could there be not enough boost to open the valve and so it chooses to go back through the turbo? I have unplugged the vacuum line from the solenoid to see if maybe the solenoid isnt letting air pass, but no success.
