Quick question for the experts:
If I fitted an APC valve to my Trionic 5 9000CD Eco (lpt) what effect would it have without a remapped ECU?
My guess is nothing at all - but am just interested.......
I'm toying with the idea of a remapped ECU from one of the usual suppliers, but I haven't found one yet that will limit the bhp to 200 as I have an auto box (I'm disabled - I'm not really driving the woman's model!).
Second question:
Was there a Trionic 5 FPT produced in 1997 that I could get an ECU from?

in answer to your first question, no the sol that you have fitted will not do any thing at the mo' as your ecu does not have the mapping to drive it, but at least it is there for when you get an uprated ecu :)

in answer to your second question, unfortunatly in the uk we didnt get a trionic 2.0 fpt for you to swop with but if yours is a 2.3 lpt you should be able to get an 2.3 fpt ecu

so there are 1997 2.3 fpt's in the USA? how much you think i can get one of those ecu's for from a 2.3 fpt? from ebay or junkyards
Togish, there are 2.3 FPT in USA and there was an ECU from one of those on E-bay a few weeks back that was sold for only $49. I decided to go with more
power, so didn't bid on it myself, but $49 was a good price!

My 9000cs is a LPT too.
