Just returned from a trip to Peru and went to get my car from long-term parking...It looks like one of the LCD segments in the odometer has ruptured, because there is a "smear" of what i can only think is the LCD fluid on the 2nd digit. It's still easily readable, but I never struck this as being something that could happen. Anyone experienced anything similar? I guess I'm lucky though, I haven't had even a minor problem with the car in a year and a half.

Well, it's not getting fixed until I leave California in June...I am never dealing with the dealerships up in Santa Clara or Burlingame again, they are ridiculous.

I just noticed that I have the same problem. Have not taken it to the dealer yet. Let me know if you find out how long it will take to order the part. I think that it is pixal burn out.
