Still yet to properly resolve the water pump issue with my 99. My 900's head is off to be skimmed, and I really am not sure if it is cracked so have got to get it pressure tested as well.

My girlfriend has just got rid of her horrible A-Class Merc and bought a VW Lupo GTi, which is a great car.

After 15 years of owning only Saabs, for me I think the end is near.

To be fair my 99 is a great car which really gets some looks and I don't want to part with her but my 900 is a heap of junk which (if we had any around here) would be off the nearest cliff!

Bit of a Saab nightmare at the moment, and after 20 + cars!

Think I need a holiday.

16v heads very rarely crack - might be lucky! Whats the body like on the 900?
Bought it off Ebay, and wish I hadn't bothered!

Had sold my 9000 and had a bit of spare cash and to cut a long story short you know when you see a car you always wanted and you have money.... .

Doors shot, bottoms too bad for repair really. Bonnet (or is it bonett, or bonnett) but I think the first one looked right not too bad but inside lip rusty. Boot not good, rusty around holes where spoiler fixes (which some idiot has 'colour coded' badly). Other panels not too bad though - which is a good job!

Sorry - I know this is the 99 forum but I was asked! :cheesy:

Oh - the 99. Managed to track down a spangly new water pump so won't be long before the old girl back on the road. Good news, it may lighten my gloomy saab future.

It is a bit of a worry when you start looking at Citroen DS's on Ebay.....;oops: !
