Ok I just got my new exhaust and CAT installed and it sounds good. The problem is when I cap the tail pipe I can hear a leak. So I looked under and can see it dripping slowly from the two exhaust clamps.

(for reference its leaking at both 8s)

I've made sure they're tight and it still leaks. Is this just temporary? The car has only ran for about 2 mins. Also when I put the pipes together I did it by hand and I didn't force the pipe in with a hammer or anything.

did your cat / silencer tube go a long way into the silencer? it should go all the way into the silencer. I don't really think (from what your describing) that there is a problem though. There should be some expansion after a week or so.

I had a very slight leak from the rear join (8) but decided that it was so close to the tail-pipe that there was no way it would ever leak - unless the tail-pipe was blocked.
