This is probably accurate. I could do it in 6 hours having done one before. It helps immeasurably if you don't care about replacing all the fasteners and simply bill the customer for parts you break as you go along. If you read my old post you will see it took me about 1.5 hour just to remove the expansion valve because the bolt was rusted. It only took me that long because I didn't feel like billing myself another $150 for a new valve. I'm funny that way.Though mine was replaced under CPO after it quit (about 2 months before the warranty was up), the dealer said it was a 6 hour job.

A women turned "Into" the out in a Mall parking lot Wed afternoon and I had to make a Panic stop on the bike while turning, I missed her but the bike was at a severe angle when I stopped and we went down,,,,,, she just kept going. Guy in back of me help me get the bike up, woman kept going. Not a scratch on the Bike, I felt fine just shaken. ..... Nothing hurt unitll last night, i started feeling sore and this morning I couldn't move without being in Pain, Ambulance took me to Hosp. Heavily Medicated.....
Thanks for that info guys.... I always ask any mechanic for an estimate first.... but now I have some insight.
I won't be driving for a few days anyway.
